F1B Original Trunk Bike Rack

My father bought this rack in the mid 90s, I used it yesterday! It is just as easy to use and sturdy as it always has been! Have never had to replace any parts, nicely done!

The F1B is pictured on the website, as well as my local dealers page, installed on a previous generation Mazda6. That seemed to me to be an indication that it would fit this model of car. You can mount it, and it will be secure, but the storage arms end up pointing a bit skyward at nearly 45deg. Will work, but bike will have a more heavy lean into you cars trunk. It was then, I checked the fit guide and saw that it is not recommended for this model of car, despite being pictured that way here on the website. Made I can finagle a "stay" bar, to "lock" the bottom bracket away from the car.

This rack is easy to set up and easy to load, yet very sturdy and strong. Exactly what I was hoping for!

Great bike rack 👍 very well built of good construction materials and finishes, rubber bumpers for glass and paintwork, easy and versatile to fit securely to both hatchback and saloon type cars. It gives me great confidence when driving with two bikes attached. I’ve travelled to many Greenways around my native Ireland and I fully recommend this bike rack 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

So easy to put on and take off. Just what I was looking for, it’s great.

This is my first bike carrier, I've had it for 20 years: easy to use, solid, stable. I change my car and bike more often.

This bike rack is easy to install, sturdy, and affordable. My only problem is that it does not quite fit 3 bikes for us. Still a great deal!

We have been exceptionally pleased with the rack we bought... it is heavy, well made and works perfectly!

I have had mine for over 20 years.Protective strips changed to stop the bike rubbing on the frame.
Looking a little dog-eared now an rust starting to show through but an easy to use design.
Wont need to change it anytime soon.

F1B Original Trunk Bike Rack

I have had my bike rack for 28 years!!! I bought it in California and now live in Texas. I am now in my early 70's and can still easily put on and take off this rack! I am about to order a new one ONLY because of a freak accident in my former parking garage where someone ran over it and bent the bottom brace bar - which means it now is bent and scratches my car a little bit. Other than that, it is perfect. You won't be disappointed!

I have owned and used the the same F1B for over 20 years. Great sturdy bike rack that has held up under years of hard use and weather. I now need to replace the straps that hold it to the car for safety reasons, not because the old ones broke, but because they are showing brittleness and fraying.
