The Rack Valet is the first mobile bike rack storage and transportation system. Easily attach your bike rack into either the 1-1/4" or 2" slot on the Rack Valet and then roll it out to your vehicle. Some bike Racks can weight up to 90 pounds, so save yourself the trouble (and back pain) and roll your rack right out to your car.

About Hollywood Racks
Exceptional Bike Racks with Superior Stability
3rd Generation Family-Owned Doing What We Love the Most
Locally Owned & Operated in Los Angeles, California
It's perfect. Easy to assemble. Easy to use. Very Stable
First impression of using the rack valet is how easy it is to move my 4 bike hitch rack around and store it to the side in my garage as needed. This assembled really easily and really does make moving a large, heavy hitch rack to and from your vehicle as needed quite a bit easier. The wheel locks are a nice touch as garage floors are slightly sloped, so locking the wheels on the valet keeps it in place securely against a wall or out of the way without worry it will roll off.
Only one issue that is middle post
Find it difficult to raise up after you load rear bike in rack to prepare for the next bike to load
Can be a challenge
Great and simple works perfectly. Wish I had this 4 years ago when I bought my Hollywood Rack.
There are wooden bike rack carts being sold and cost as much but are good for use with only one rack and rely on gravity to keep the rack on the cart. The Hollywood rack can be used with any bike rack that attaches to a hitch receiver and if the rack has a mechanism to lock it to the receiver it can be used on this rack as well. It took me less than 10 minutes to unbox and assemble the rack. They specify needing a 13mm and 17mm wrench but actually a 8" adjustable spanner / wrench will work equally well.
Although it is well made it is not made for use outdoors to store a rack or the wheels will rust quickly. The wheels can be easily replaced if that happens it is not a total loss. A little WD-40 spray is advisable to coat the steel ball bearings periodically.
The locking mechanism on the wheels holds well and can be pushed down and locked by hand.
I wish though that cardboard packing materials that can be recycled were used instead of the two large pieces of plastic that will end up in landfills.
