Lost the hitch pin lock on my Sport Rider rack and asked for advice on what to do before ordering a new one. Great service and advice and had a new pin in no time at all. Very good experience and service, and love my Sport Rider rack!
Rack was easy to assemble. One wheel strap had some small damage, Hollywood made good on it immediately. Very stable with 2 60lb bikes on it. I really like the ramp. Can take a bit of fiddling to get your particular bikes set up correctly but once you figure it out all goes smoothly.
I wanna first start off writing this review as that I wrote a view earlier and it didn’t take. However, here we go. This rack is absolutely amazing. The only knock that I have on it is that the upright bar is a little too tall for my 2021 ram 1500 new body rail gate. When I lay the tailgate down the upright bar interferes with the tailgate when the rack is in the tilt notch. When the rack is flat the tailgate actually rest upon the track itself where the bike stands. That’s the only ding that I have for the rack itself.
Here’s the great stuff. This rack is absolutely steady, sturdy ,easy to use and incredibly easy to install and put together. It’s also extremely lightweight to haul around. But the great thing about this is that it is now hurricane tested and approved by me as it just withstood a category 3 hurricane in my neighborhood that pretty much devastated the entire neighborhood. I had trees on the house, lost a fence, a patio, and other things. My truck was damaged. But my Hollywood Rack was still intact. All it needs is a good wash and it is back to being a brand new rack. Thank you, Hollywood racks. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another bike rack from another company. Cheers, Nick in Gulf Breeze, FL.
