I HIT A SPEED BUMP WITH MY BIKES ON MY SPROT RIDER, THE SPORT RIDER BENT WHERE THE CUT OUTS ARE TO PUT THE HITCH PIN IN... I WAS HAPPY THAT HOLLYWOOD SOLD ME THE REPLACEMENT PART FOR $100. THANK YOU
We misplaced the short hook in our two-bike Hollywood rack. So sad. Went to Hollywood website and was able to immediately order the replacement and it arrived in a week. Effortless and quick.
Pleasant experience assembling the Destination E Bike Rack and LED light on the Rack Valet! I was able to lock the swivel casters on the Valet, and work on assembling The Bike Rack with LED lighting system from my comfortable camp chair with parts and tools on the attached side table, with time to contemplate and meditate on the engineering beauty of design. It may be a bit much for my first e-bike (40 lbs. Velotric Tempo ordered last month from the manufacturer, assembled at home), but this equipment and the truck will wind up with my kids in a couple decades. The most difficult exercise was inserting the flat-4 light connector into the truck's system (the last time Dad's trailer was hooked up to the truck was at least 12 years ago). The light works great, and the turn signals are sweet! I used the PinUltimate titanium locking hitch pin from Big Sky Precision, screwed the tightening mechanism down and the rack is solid "like a rock." (I'm thinking about ordering the hitch tightening assembly for 2" stingers.)
After a 6 hour trip, the carrier was still tight and secure. Only design wish, which I’m unsure if even possible, is to be able to fold down the bar without fully removing the bolt/handle.
