This is a really great quality rack for the money. Well built and easy to intall. The anti-vibration system in the hitch works perfectly but the rack tray still shakes due to the space in the main pivot bolt. I added two nylon washers to the bolt to remove the space and still make it easy to pivot the rack tray from vertical to horizontal. No more shaky bike and was a $2 fix to tighten the fit.

Very pleased with my purchase from assembly to mounting my bike 20 minutes. It feels very secure and easy to operate five stars highly recommend.

After enjoying the benefits of our Hollywood Rack for our 2 Troxus e-bikes for the past year on our Toyota Highlander, after bringing home our 2025 Bronco, it was clear we would need to augment an already terrific bike rack with some sort of swing-out arm to accommodate the swing gate on the Bronco - and Hollywood Racks delivered! This swing out apparatus was a) easy to set-up and install, b) looks cool when not in use and c) it's heavy duty AF!! It's also pretty easy (less than 10 mins) to move the bike rack from the Bronco to the Highlander, so the versatility is awesome! Looking forward to many more road trips in the Bronco (or the Highlander) and bringing the bikes along!

I was originally leaning toward a popular platform rack from a well-regarded brand known for their rugged aluminum construction. Great rack, no doubt, but once I started tallying up everything I’d need for full compatibility with my Tesla Model Y Juniper, the costs added up quickly. A separately sold hitch extender to allow the rack to fold up completely, a side-entry “L” hitch lock to work around the trailer wiring plug, and a cable lock for the bike itself. I was approaching $600 before a single wheel touched the tray.

The CrossTrack 1 changed the math entirely. Just over $400, no accessory shopping list, ready to go out of the box. More importantly: it delivers. The rack feels rock-solid, not “seems fine in the driveway” solid, but “just completed a 900-mile road trip without a second thought” solid. Not a rattle, not a wobble the entire way.

If you’re on a Model Y Juniper or just don’t want to play the compatibility accessory game, the CrossTrack 1 is a genuinely excellent alternative. Highly recommended.

I am so pleased with this bike rack. The instructions are super clear. You have a “How to” video as well as written instructions. Seamless!! Minimal steps to get the rack in position ready to go. All tools provided. I traveled 600 miles and the bike was solid in place. I made a few stops to tighten the hitch pin as instructed and didn’t even need to be done because it remained tight. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT. After much research I decided to go with Hollywood Racks and so happy I did. Amongst all the other competitors. You guys Rock. Also, the take down is easy as well.

The good price initially caught my attention. Once the rack arrived I was very satisfied with the quality and sturdiness. Very good quality, very easy assembly, and has a heavy duty feel to it.

After some research, I realized my 2025 VW Tiguan would need a rack that met the specific fitment of the hitch depth in order to fold up completely when not in use. The hitch mounting is more set back from the bumper than previous years, and many platform racks did not meet the fitment, which would mean leaving the rack unfolded part way. Since I will have the rack on the vehicle at times when not transporting bikes, this was a no go. The Crosstrack fits perfectly with about an inch between the rack and bumper when folded up. It only takes about a minute to put on/take off with the ease of the anti wobble mechanism on a 2” hitch receiver. Very solid and good looking rack for a great price!

I had researched and found the cross track appealing. I figured Hollywood knows what they are building having been around since the seventies. I got the rack on BF and got some nice gifts. I put the rack together real easy. It goes on my rav4 real nice and my trek fitness bike fits easy and fast loading. I definitely recommend this rack.

I just purchased an electric bike, so bought this rack to go with it. Its a simple yet strong rack and the ramp makes it so easy to get my heavier electric bike on and off.

We frequently travel with our bikes on the back of our truck camper. We have had a Hollywood rack for years, and tilt the rack down to give more access to our camper door. We wanted to get a swing away arm to go with our bike rack, so we checked with Hollywood. We were considering one brand, but then found out Hollywood now had their own swing away arm. So we bought it.
We are super impressed with how easy it was to install, how easy it is to use, and how very solid and sturdy it is. And it was less expensive. It is a game changer because we can now totally swing the bikes out of the way of the back of the camper, and it is so much easier to use than the tilt on the bike rack particularly when we have the bikes covered.

I love this rack. I am a 60 year old woman and I was impressed that it was so easy to assemble. My bike is about 50 pounds and I struggled so much loading it on my old rack that I had stopped riding. Now with the ramp it is a piece of cake. I also like the fact it is so secure on the rack. Would recommend this rack to anyone.

I purchased the Cross Track 1 Bike Hitch Rack about a month ago. It arraived quickly and was easy to assemble. The rack is solid and it does a great job securing and carrying my bike to the trails. I like that it's heavy duty and made well. Great product for the price, especially when comapred to comprable bike carriers.
