Sport Rider Scrambler Bundle

Well... Let me just say that these racks take a licking and keep on ticking. My wife and I travel by road quite a bit and our rack has well over 30,000 miles of carrying bikes across the USA and Canada (some of this on back country fire/logging roads). Last year (2025), we were sideswiped from the rear by a gravel carrier in Canada as he attempted to pass us on the left. The truck's rear mudflap caught one of our bike rack's wheel trays. Part of the truck's trailer proceeded to rip the front of our car off as it caught the front left wheel well. (More than $20,000 in damages) Nevertheless, the rack and our bike wheels sustained only minimal scuffs and a slight bending downward of one of the rack's driver side wheel trays. (It wasn't enough for me to replace the part).

This year (2026), on the Blue Ridge Parkway in VA, we had to swerve drastically to avoid hitting a black bear cub that was darting out of the woods from our right. We managed not to hit the cub with the car. However, as we were swerving and braking, the bear cub ran into the right side of our bike rack (mounted behind the car). The good news, the cub then ran off into the woods apparently scared but, with no major injuries. When I stopped to check on things (cub/car/bikes/rack) the only evidence that the cub had bumped into our vehicle/rack was some dirt rubbed off of the rack's wheel tray. I couldn't believe my eyes. No fur/hair, no blood, no damage to the car, bikes, or the bike rack. I can only assume that the cub didn't sustain any major injuries but I'm sure that he was spooked by the event. Hopefully, his mama will teach him to look both ways before darting out into the road again.

Point of this review, these racks are pretty tough if you can handle their weight. They are heavy but they are built heavy duty so keep that in mind. Did I mention that in all of our travels, we have not had any issues of the bike racks failing or almost loosing one of our bikes.

The person I dealt with (Jaime) was excellent, professional, easy to talk to and got back to me when needed. I would’ve preferred to be able to buy another hold down hook for my old bike rack but that couldn’t happen. He did offer a discount which eased the pain and made me continue to be a satisfied customer. The new rack went together easily. Thank you for your fine product and customer service.

Holds big bikes, really nice and solid and Iraq is really nice and solid. Not all wiggly, like summer acts, it's awesome big rack for big boys.

Bought this rack a couple of years ago for 2 rad rover 6. It has been a great rack; do not even know it is back there (airstream Interstate). last week clipped a bollard with it and bent it all to hell. let me say "the racks are good, but the service is better" I was simply able to go on their page and quickly order the replacement parts that showed up in two days, and it is new again. A+++++++++, wish more things were like this.

Bought this a while ago and it has been perfect, this thing is heavy duty. Recently got rear-ended while carrying my bikes. No damage to the bikes, no damage to the car, and no damage to the rack (besides a little bend to the plastic wheel strap), other car needed a new front bumper. Would recommend to anyone.

This fits two of our bikes perfectly, was easy to assemble and get on the vehicle, and seems to be holding up really well. We compared it against racks that were over twice as much, and this one compares pretty well.

Easy to use - this is our 2nd purchase; we bought one from our daughter’s car so she can also join us on bike rides!

We bought folding bikes so we could transport them in the back of our car, but that got old really fast. I’ve heard horror stories of these heavy bikes on flimsy racks, so I researched and read lots of reviews and finally settled on Hollywood Racks. Upon installing the rack, my husband kept commenting that this rack is really solid and becomes part of the car, there is no wiggle. Glad we chose this one!

After contacting Hollywood Racks because of an issue with my bike rack, with a few pictures and some details, a replacement was shipped the next day. It is put together and ready to use (if it will now stop snowing)! Thank you for making it happen.

I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the Sport Ride Bike Rack. Hollywood Racks continues to excell I. Superior quality products. I could not be happier!

After doing a lot of research I decided that the Sports Rider rack was the correct rake for my E bike needs. It works with fenders on the bike, also had the no wobble hitch that was compatible with a 2" and 2.5" receiver (you will need to use the 2.5" adapter), I have both and can use the standard 5/8" hitch pin. Plus I can add a trike adapter if my wife decides to get one and still carry my E bike. Also the rack was easy to set up and install.

After carefully reviewing Hollywood racks and other brands, the Hollywood racks stood out to me as far as options and cost.
I am very pleased with how they are made and the durability.
I made a great choice on the Sport rider rack.

Order arrived very quickly in perfect shape. Using an online assembly video, I put everything together without a problem in about 30 mins. Very sturdy and well built.

Hitch and trike adapter works great. We are retired older able to get the bike and the trike on bike easily, it’s now easy to go to different trails and locations with our electric bikes.

Its a big upgrade from my previous rack and it is very high quality. Totally worth the price especially compared to thule

Probably the best bike rack I’ve owned. Easy to assemble and put on my car. Is it heavy, sure it is, but it is built like a tank. My two e bikes weight about 140 together and it they don’t move once locked down. Pricey. Definitely. But well with the investments I have in my bikes. Oh, and great customer service as well.

Sturdy, easy to put together, fits everything from a kids bike to an electric cargo bike. Glad I chose this one.

After an initial bobble, my error, the assembly went well. I was very impressed at the quality of the instructions and the very heavy duty hardware. I did go back and order the rack dolly, In retrospect I should have ordered that along with my order. The Hollywood rack, and especially with the trike adapter is quite heavy, Little touches like the doubler installed on the main beams really show the attention to detail and engineering involved. The rack is designed to accommodate e-bikes, I did not need this level of beefiness for bikes, but when coupled with the trike adapter, there is a lot of mass out on a pretty long lever. Assembly and integration of the trike adapter went well. Smart of Hollywood to make the assembly process happen on the car. Very well done.

I’m a guy who likes to over build things when I fabricate them. These racks may seem pricy but I can say they are extremely well built and easy to assemble out of the box. Now it is fairly heavy for someone who may not be super strong to put in or take off your car/truck. I have no worries about something breaking on it. They did a great job with its ease to tip for the trunk hatch or truck tailgate. I have not used it yet to haul but only assemble and test the bike fit. Super pleased with its design and ruggedness so far. I also bought the trike adapter which again I have no concerns with its durability and over build strength. 5 stars for both and I’d give more if it had more to pick from. Also as a side note I spoke with one of the owners with a question and he was awesome to speak with as email with. Answered all my crazy engineering questions with no hesitation.
