LOCKING HITCH PIN HEAD

Lock arrived very quickly and works just as good as the one that came with the bike rack. Very pleased.

The new style hitch pin lock improvement provides a positive reinforcement that the lock is engaged by using springback mechanism when the key is withdrawn.

When I called the e-retailer, they put me in touch with Hollywood racks who replaced the keyed part right away. Not sure how it fell off, but the racks are solid. Took a beach cruiser and my 77-lb fat tire ebike on a 6hr mountain trip with barely a wobble.

It's great to be able to replace the lock without needing to have two separate keys! I could select one that works with the keys I already have. This is very useful because I forgot to secure the old lock and if fell off the pin while I was driving.
