All Class III hitches are used for weight distribution and these hitches are rated up to 10,000 lbs capacity, gross trailer weight (GTW) with a 1000 lbs. maximum trailer tongue weight (TW). Most Class III hitches usually use a 2" square receiver tube for a hitch mounted bike rack. A higher class ball mount does not increase the towing capacity of the hitch in case you were wondering.
