I ordered this light bar for my Hollywood Sports Rack. It was easy to attach, has brake light, driving light, and signal lights. It gives me confidence that I will be highly visible while transporting my bikes. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Safety light bar

Hi, I purchased this light bar for my RV Rider E Bike rack which I have on my 2023 F-250 with a popup camper in the bed. I was worried that it might not work properly after reading the warnings about it possibly not working properly on newer models. I first tested it with the supplied tester and everything worked fine! Then hooked up the actual light bar and everything seemed to work perfectly. I was doing this by myself, go in back and forth from the cab to the back, and I did see a message on my dash, (forgot the actual message), but pressed the OK button on the steering wheel and it went away. I get similar messages after removing my tailgate to put my popup camper in the bed, and have to do the same thing to get rid of the messages. Hopefully when I take it for a drive it will keep working fine! It was easy to mount it to the rack, and it’s nice that I can flip it down when I lift the bike rack up. It’s nice that you can also strap it to the bike itself!!

I bought the Safety Light Bar back in November 2024 and realized quickly I had a problem…..with my F450. Ford’s made after 2020 will not operate the light bar correctly because Ford loves their old lights not LED lights. If I would have read the directions (yes, I’m a guy) so I don’t read directions but they stated needed to order an adapter from ETrailer.com and even gave the part number. I ordered the adapter and after 7 days it arrived and the light bar still did not work. Frustrated I contacted customer service at Hollywood and ETrailer and I then ordered a 7 way pin tester. Another 7 days wait and tested the light bar and the light bar had issues. Contacted Hollywood again and they immediately said they would send a new one and for me to keep the old one….meaning trash it, except I did keep installment parts and canvas straps for backup. Due to Snow-Mageddon I had to wait 21 days but I received it, plugged in the adapter from ETrailer and it works perfectly. Long story to say, I LOVE IT! I use it on my F450 and will move it with the rack to go on my 5th wheel camper to make sure I don’t get rear ended or sideswipe a car. Don’t ask me how I know :) Thanks you Hollywood!! Love your rack and light bar.

So glad this light bar works wonders on our Sprinter. Feel safer to have it on the back.

Just finished a 1200 mile trip. The rack was solid all the way. Both grabbers were attached to one bike which took much trial and error. More flexibility in in the grabbers would be nice, but I made it work. The light was especially bright giving added feeling of safety on the interstate. Overall great rack. Bike is a Lectric 3.0.

We love these safety lights and are using them on the RV Rider rack on our Ford 2021 Leisure Travel Wonder. We initially had issues with the lights not quite working right on our 7-pin plug (This version has the amber and red LEDs).
The amazing support team went above and beyond for us and supplied us with a newer, improved version (all red LEDs, no amber), which worked perfectly.

The lights were easy to install, with clear instructions, and mount perfectly to our rack (you can also hang the light on your bikes of course). The running lights supply a single row of LEDs, while the left/right/brakes/hazards, light up the double row of LEDs.

Totally happy with the purchase, and feel much safer.

I like it very much. It is easy to install on my Honda Ridgeline. It can be seen real easily.

Everything I’ve purchased from Hollywood Racks has been better than I thought it would be. The light bar is no exception.

Easy install and works but very expensive for what it is (LED strip in a clear PVC tube).

No problem with light bar on my Hollywood sport rack. Came with adapter so everything plugged in fine.

I bought these because I have a big bike and I was afraid that it was going to cover my tail lights. It does, at least some of the light so I wrap this on my bicycle when it's on the rack. It's very bright and accurate. When I turn on my signals, the yellow signals come right on and are actually more visible than the signals on my car. When I first plugged them in to test them I drove around with them in the back of my seat. When I pressed on my brake, the whole car lit up so I'm sure that nobody's having a problem seeing them on my bike.

The Hollywood Light Bar is a good addition to your Hollywood Bike Rack. I find that it illuminates the entire light bar very well to help prevent accidents and give others one more way to see your rear car lights. It is very bright and one more way to bike safe!! It also came with alot of different supplies for options for mounting to the rack. Would highly recommend this light bar.

Comes with the adapter for 7 pin, bright leds will definitely improve your safety.

What a solid rack. With Much time and planning they created a masterpiece. They also include locks, an an anti-rattle bracket from the hitch. I love this bike rack. Too bad I didn’t buy this one first.

Like everything I have bought from Hollywood Racks, the Safety Lights Bar assembly is top quality. The safety light bar is solid and well built and works perfectly with the light bar adapter. You can tell quality time was spent thinking thru the customer needs.
