F2 Over-the-Top Trunk Bike Rack

Bought ours over 10 years ago. Great purchase. Still going strong.

High quality item. Once setup for your vehicle it's easy to install and remove as needed. Bikes are easy to install and are very secure. Using this rack on my 2015 MINI Cooper 2-dr hardtop.

But 3 bikes kinda shaky. Pretty easy on and off once you get use to it.

I searched high and low for this rack. I’m looking forward to be able to transport my bike finally!

After first time, rack is easy to put on and take off our Highlander. Very stable and secure for 2 mountain bikes.

Like other reviews, great experience with this rack. The e-trailer video is helpful to install it, and we had to buy separate cross bar attachments for kids / women's bikes, but once installed we drove 8 hours at a highway speed upstate with no issue. Very happy with this.

The F2 fits exceptionally well and is a breeze to install and remove. Exceptional build quality, strong, and stable. Very responsive customer service as well. No need to look at anything else.

Expensive but it works well

Easy to mount on the back of my 2018 X3 and really solid with two bikes over a long car ride. Well worth every penny!

Tried several big name brand trunk racks for my 2013 Audi Q7 and none would get a good fit. Hollywood Racks Over the Top rack to the rescue! Great fit. Have the 3 family bikes on there and very pleased.

I'm generally very pleased with my F2 Over The Top bike carrier. It fits well on my Mazda CX-5 and holds the bikes very securely. It's the only carrier I found that has the extra top frame to provide clearance for the spoiler on my vehicle's hatch. I knocked off one star from my rating because of the difficulty in attaching the rubber straps to the anchor posts. On my previous vehicle I had a Thule carrier and the anchor posts were offset so you wouldn't be bumping into the carrier's frame while pulling the rubber straps onto the posts. On the F2 the posts are in line with the frame making it difficult to pull the straps onto the posts. I also miss the built-in cable lock of my previous Thule rack. On the plus side, I like the quick release hubs that allow for rapid adjustment of the frame sections. Overall, the F2 is a well-made, well-designed carrier that could benefit from one or two design tweaks.

Easy to install. Fits my X3 perfectly. A very solid piece of equipment. After first use - no scratching or any damage to the vehicle, and absolutely no concern of bikes moving around. Total piece of mind with this bike rack. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone.

Very pleased with this rack, as it was hard to find a rack compatible with my 2019 RAV4. Once I figured out how to install it, it was fairly simple to install and remove. Very thoughtful details that protect the car surface and secure the bike. My only criticism is that the installation instructions and photos weren’t as detailed as they could have been and had better photos for each type of car and each type of installation. The way I was able to figure it out was to watch a you tube video that was a review of the rack which showed installation on a RAV4.

F2 Over-the-Top Trunk Bike Rack

I've owned this rack for about 1 1/2 months and used it a lot. I still believe its a GREAT rack. I have a 2020 Honda Pilot. It doesn't have a protruding back bumper and has a very slanted back window, so there is no place for a rack to carry the weight on the back. This "over the top" rack puts all the weight on the roof and holds my two bikes securely and safely. Also, the construction is very solid, very strong, and well built. I have to say again... its a GREAT rack!

Ingenious, tough design.

This rack exceeded all of my expectations. I used it for the first time this past week to transport bikes to and from vacation and it was perfect. Having an SUV with a spoiler, I needed a specific rack that wouldn't require a hitch and wouldn't damage the spoiler. This rack was extremely easy to install, incredibly sturdy, and easy to stow away once we arrived on vacation. I would totally recommend this rack for anyone looking for a solution similar to what I was facing. I did a lot of research and while it took me a while to find this rack, it was well worth the wait and the money. I would buy it again in a heartbeat but I think, based on the quality, I won't need to for a very long time!

Very well thought out. Works great on my Jeep Cherokee. I got the three bike rack and it’s done very well for carrying three bikes. Best option out there by far for a Cherokee!

F2 Over-the-Top Trunk Bike Rack

Great rack! I just got a new car and couldn’t find the right rack to go on it. I did not want to spend a lot of money nor did I want to put a hitch on my car. Anyway, I found the F2 rack online and emailed the company to see if they had any in stock. To my surprise they had one and Rick was amazing in making sure he got it out for me right away. He mentioned it might take more time the first time to assemble it, which I did, but now I have it. It’s very sturdy. Great customer service! I will definitely refer this company.

I was very impressed with the quality build of this product. Boy, it feels solid and is built to last. It easily adjusts, and is easy to remove, etc. once you get it initially installed. Also, this is a great version if you do not want straps touching your roof or rear spoiler, especially if you have cross bars.

I have a 2017 mini Cooper Countryman. Finding the correct rack for it was not easy. I ordered the f2 from Hollywood racks and it is a beauty! Well-made, sturdy, safe, not difficult to put on because the accompanying video really helped!

We purchased the F2 Over-the-Top Bike Rack for my 2020 Subaru Outback. It is easy to install with lots of different options and easy to mount the bikes. Our two bikes fit great and were nice and safe as we drove 70 mph on the freeway. I highly recommend Hollywood Racks.

Recently purchased an F2 Over-The-Top bike rack for my 2020 Honda Pilot. It took some initial adjustments to get it right but it fits great!. Since the car has no protruding bumper and a very slanted back window, this is the only rack I found that does fit. All the weight rests on the roof. Now that everything is setup, it only takes a few minutes to put it on. Great quality and easy to use. Highly recommend it!!

Finally a bike rack that fits the Toyota Sienna. It’s nice not to have to get a tow hitch. I secured the top bracket to the roof rack and it was very solid on there. I would recommend this bike rack to anyone that has a spoiler on the back of their vehicle.

Exactly as described and perfect for three bikes. We took the rack on a 1000 mile trip on its maiden voyage and I not once had an issue or concern. Very stable and easy to install — the recommendation to watch the video instead of reading the instructions was spot on. Highly recommend this rack
