Hitch racks are best for cars and vehicles equipped with a trailer hitch, and are great for use with SUVs, minivans and other vehicles with a trailer hitches. These racks can hold upto 5 bikes. These racks sit it the rear of your vehcle.
Trunk racks attach to the back of your vehicle and are ideal for compact vehicles without a roof rack. These racks are easy to attach and detach and always make sure to check your vehicle's manual before installing a bike rack.

11 reviewsThis bike rack is perfect for our situation. We mounted it on our Jeep Wrangler and towed the Jeep behind our RV this past weekend. Both e-bikes were steady and secure. While it takes some time to set it up correctly the first time, it's a snap to install, and it is very easy to load and unload our bikes. Well worth the cost!!!!
As an older female (71), I needed a rack for my car that was both easy to install/use and load my heavy ebike (Sixthreezero EVRYjourney). The Hollywood Destination E Bike Rack is the perfect solution!!! Not only is it easy to set up and load my bike, it’s very secure. I love the built in locks as well. Customer support is very quick to reply (had issues with FedEx). Thank you!!!!
I have to admit that I took a recommendation from a friend, but I could not be happier with this rack. Easy on and off the car, not too heavy and very secure. Also, I can open and close the hatch with the rack on the car (2021 Subaru Forrester) which is a bonus. Additionally, I lost a part and customer service was excellent - very responsive and helpful.
It arrived promptly, was easy to assemble and works outstandingly. Love the locking mechanism and the tire holders adjust perfectly to accommodate your bikes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a bike carrier. Folds up nice and compact for storage and not that heavy to handle either. Love it and it looks great too! Once you secure your bike it doesn’t move or rattle at all. Bikes load easily on and off. The best rack that I found anywhere.
Just as advertised
I had a question about a replacement part. Sent the message. They got right back to me with confirmation of the part. Then they sent it to me free of charge. I don’t want to sound like that’s SOP for them. Thank you. My rack is back on and not wobbling.
Well... Let me just say that these racks take a licking and keep on ticking. My wife and I travel by road quite a bit and our rack has well over 30,000 miles of carrying bikes across the USA and Canada (some of this on back country fire/logging roads). Last year (2025), we were sideswiped from the rear by a gravel carrier in Canada as he attempted to pass us on the left. The truck's rear mudflap caught one of our bike rack's wheel trays. Part of the truck's trailer proceeded to rip the front of our car off as it caught the front left wheel well. (More than $20,000 in damages) Nevertheless, the rack and our bike wheels sustained only minimal scuffs and a slight bending downward of one of the rack's driver side wheel trays. (It wasn't enough for me to replace the part).
This year (2026), on the Blue Ridge Parkway in VA, we had to swerve drastically to avoid hitting a black bear cub that was darting out of the woods from our right. We managed not to hit the cub with the car. However, as we were swerving and braking, the bear cub ran into the right side of our bike rack (mounted behind the car). The good news, the cub then ran off into the woods apparently scared but, with no major injuries. When I stopped to check on things (cub/car/bikes/rack) the only evidence that the cub had bumped into our vehicle/rack was some dirt rubbed off of the rack's wheel tray. I couldn't believe my eyes. No fur/hair, no blood, no damage to the car, bikes, or the bike rack. I can only assume that the cub didn't sustain any major injuries but I'm sure that he was spooked by the event. Hopefully, his mama will teach him to look both ways before darting out into the road again.
Point of this review, these racks are pretty tough if you can handle their weight. They are heavy but they are built heavy duty so keep that in mind. Did I mention that in all of our travels, we have not had any issues of the bike racks failing or almost loosing one of our bikes.
